Memory solutions manufacturer Kioxia Corporation has commenced site preparation and other related work for the construction of Fab3, a new manufacturing facility at the Kitakami Plant in Iwate Prefecture, Japan, to expand production capacity for advanced three-dimensional flash memory BiCS FLASH. Fab3 will be constructed on land south of Fab2, targeting operations to commence in fiscal 2029. Detailed plans for Fab3 regarding construction schedule and equipment investments will be determined based on market trends.

European financial technology provider payabl. has expanded its relationship with Visa to extend access to real-time dispute management tools for merchants across the UK and EU. Through the collaboration, payabl. will offer Visa’s Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR) services, enabling merchants to resolve disputes automatically at the pre-dispute stage and help prevent costly chargebacks before they happen. The solution also helps enhance the customer experience by enabling merchants to issue refunds virtually.
Cybersecurity company Resecurity and the National Cybercrime Unit of the Ecuadorian National Police (CiberPOL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a framework for technical cooperation to strengthen the prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution of cybercrimes. The cooperation focuses on the operational capabilities of CiberPOL through the exchange of cyber threat intelligence (CTI), technical assistance, technological collaboration, and professional capacity building.
